Life from past

1 minute gesture from last year and a recent 5 minute. I did alot in 1 minute but wasn't able to draw the whole figure. But the paper i used was twice bigger than normal size, it's literally impossible to draw big and fast and make it look nice. Well, at least for now. I established a new drawing style with this drawing. It was something i've been doing time to time, but finally it came to an realization.

5 minute one was an exercise directed by T, my lifedrawing teacher. I was just so rusty after i got back from my summer break and T gave me some useful tips. Alot of major/minor mistakes, but i liked how i managed my time and learned alot in a single drawing.

Sketch dumps

Quick sketches under a few minutes and a quick painting. Most of them needs structure/proportion adjustments. It's very hard not to have problems in quickies.

For some drawings i don't bother thinking what to draw before i draw it. Just play around with shapes and i get something interesting. i guess that's where i get the mistakes but o well it's not a big deal..i can always draw another when i like the idea

Some lifesketches from last summer

Ehm i just wanted to draw that crazy mushroom hair in a subway. I donno why, but mushroom hair's just so... ... .........

Second one is my mom and grandma. i kinda pushed shapes and designs too much for my mom's face..she doesn't look like that. But i liked it, eventhough my mom looked a lil depressed.

Sometimes i memorize a person's characteristics and draw it after. I think it's somewhat fun

Hands

(i haven't posted in a while..well here we go. it's a part of what i've been doing in summer.)

1-2 minute hand drawings and a painting of a few hours. (first one is about an hour)

For the painting, i kinda stopped without actually finishing it. didn't want to do too many details.

Also kinda wanted to paint more veins and color it funny but i'll leave that to another hand painting some time later. A bit of proportion problem with the thumb. Failed to concentrate on it. (should've kept the quality of the drawing)
